You think that soccer moms can get a little crazy during their kids’ games but parents can get a little excited at football games as well. It is so common for parents to get more out of hand than the actual players.

In Gilbert Tuesday night, a female spectator of a children’s football game was arrested for resisting arrest and assault.

Kari Kathleen Rogers, 32, was at the Fuller Elementary School field for a football game. She was yelling and cursing during the game. Police officers arrived to find her screaming. The police warned her that she needs to calm herself down, but she refused to listen.

It took five officers to restrain her. While trying to arrest her, Rogers kicked the officers and continued to resist them. The police were forced to handcuff her and bind both her feet and elbows.

At the jail, Rogers continued to act out. She even assaulted a detention officer by grabbing the officer’s breast and leaving a welt. Rogers assaulted another officer breaking the skin when she grabbed at her and scratched her.

Rogers has been charged with five counts of disorderly conduct and resisting arrests. Then after the incident in jail, she has two additional counts of aggravated assault.
