Two men were arrested in connection with a Phoenix robbery just because they were acting nervous and some local police noticed them.
Police noticed that there were two men near 7100 East Thomas Road that appeared to be pacing back and forth near a Tacos Jaliscos restaurant around 5:30 pm this past Saturday.
The men left and got into a yellow Dodge Neon.
Police followed the two men to an EZ Pawn Shop. One of the men went into the shop and was out in less than on minute. Police talked to the pawn shop manager. The manager said that they guy was trying to pawn a handgun, but left when the manager said he’d only give him $100 for it.
Later the police saw that the car was now headed eastbound on Thomas Road. The found the car parked north of a fast food restaurant. Around 6:30 pm police received a call that The Coughing Canary Smoke Shop had just been robbed.
The description of the robbers matched the two men that the police had been following. The shop worker said that the robber wore a clear mask, pointed a gun and ash him to give them money in a grocery bag. The shop owner complied.
The police traced the Neon car back to an apartment where they later arrested Brandon Daniels, 24. Ernest Frederick, 24, was arrested as well. Police suspect him of driving the getaway car. Police found a mask in the Neon car.
