It was a police officer that happened to be patrolling the Albertsons in the 6900 block of Hayden Road that caught one Laura Zemaiduk, 22. Zemaiduk was caught putting a stolen license plate on her own car. The officer approached Zemaiduk when two others that were with her fled the area. It was Michael Webb, 26 and Richard Strider, also 26 that took off after seeing the approaching cop.
The officer noticed that there were some vending machines located in front of the store that appeared to have been broken into so police searched the area.
All three of the suspects were caught near Scottsdale Road and Doubletree Ranch Road.
Police are saying that that the three suspects may also be guilty of some other vending machine robberies that have occurred throughout the Valley.
In an unrelated incident police are looking for a suspect that they claim fired twice at a Mabel Murphy bouncer that was helping to break up a fight. They have described the suspects as a male in his early 20s and weighing about 300 pounds. Nobody was injured in this shooting that happened in Scottsdale.
