Mother Drives Teens to Attack 15-year-old Home Alone

Police are accusing a mom of helping her daughter and three other teenagers to break into a house in order to attack a 15-year-old girl. Kimberly Sutton of Glendale, is the mother of one of the teenagers that was arrested in this incident.

Police say that she drove the girls to the 15-year-old girl’s home last August 18th. She was aware of their plan to enter the house to attack the girl.

Police believe that there was some history between the girl and one of the teenagers arrested. Sutton was arrested and charged with several crimes including aggravated assault and providing transportation to and from the crime scene.

The four teenagers, one of which was a 13-year-old, were booked on charges of aggravated assault and burglary.
The girl who was attacked said that the teenagers got into the house through an open door in the back. The girl was home alone with her 6-year-old sibling. The teenagers came in an attacked her so she ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife to defend her. In the process she cut one of her attackers.

The teenagers fled the area and the girl was able to give police one name and only the nicknames of the other teens.
Police were able to get the names of the other teens from the one teen that the victim was able to name.

They all ended up confessing to the attack.
