Local News

Harve Holeman, 19, was arrested because authorities believe he was part of some armed robberies. But there were a total of three men involved in these robberies. All three robbers covered their faces with bandannas and wore gloves during the robberies, but Holeman’s fell down exposing his face. Oops.

Three men allegedly committed two robberies last Tuesday night. The first robbery occurred at about 11:40pm. The three men approached a man that was in his driveway which was near Thomas Road and 83rd Avenue. They forced the man to go into his residence where there was another man. They held the man at gunpoint and made him give up his wallet, money and some other items

Then about twenty minutes later the same three men entered another house about three miles away. This house was located near Camelback Road and 91st Avenue. In this second robbery they woke up two women that were in the house and made them go to the living room holding them by gunpoint. During this robbery, one of the men’s bandannas fell down allowing one of the women recognizing him as one of her neighbors, Holeman.

When Holeman was arrested, they found a wallet in his car that he had stolen from the first robbery.
