Some fraternity brothers from Arizona State University have been arrested for being part of the vomit incident that caused a car accident.

Police suspect that eight members of ASU’s Delta Sigma Phi were forced to do a “milk chug” this past September 22nd.

There was a ninth frat member present who acted as the pledge master. Police were able to contact the fraternity through the Delta Sigma Phi national director.

Police arrested the nine frat members and charged them with disorderly conduct which is a misdemeanor offense. They believe that after the “milk chug” these boys had vomited over a footbridge onto traffic below which caused the accident that injured two.

Officials from the university are looking into whether the “milk chug” is a hazing task new pledges are forced to endure. If this ends up being the case, the ASU student code of conduct says that these frat members could be removed from the university altogether.

Delta Sigma Phi has been on probation since the incident occurred, making them unable to participate in Greek and university events. The frat members may also be looking into civil and university disciplinary action against them.

The police have ended their investigation but university officials are still looking into the incident.
