If you are planning to commit a crime, the following are some tips on what to do and not to do. We are in no way promoting criminal activity, but simply making some observations based on some past criminal activity.
If you plan to run away from police on foot, at least wear something that isn’t bright.
Don’t permit police officers to come into your home when you have drugs in plain sight.
If you are going to rob a place and have a getaway car, be sure to have enough gas to get away.
Don’t use the phrase “but I know the people who live here” to explain why you are in your neighbor’s house robbing the place.
If a police officer demos a dui sobriety test, don’t say you can do it if you were sober when you are being taped, especially if you plan on pleading not guilty.
If you want to steal a car, don’t steal a stretch pearl white limo.
If you are going to give an alias to the police, pick one that you know how to spell.
If you are going to lie about your age, make sure it matches the ID in your pocket.
When you want to throw out drugs so it’s not in your possession, try to do it before the police sees you do it.
If you are going to jump a fence, be sure it’s not a K-9 unit following you.
If you leave your clothes, ID, and/or your car at a crime scene, do know that there is a good change they’ll figure it out it was you.
