All cities have issues with trying to decrease the number of drunk drivers on the roads. When the opportunity arises local city police choose a time to crack down on drunk driving with the intent of making our roads much safer.
In Peoria and other West Valley agencies, police officers are planning to focus their efforts Friday night on catching drunk drivers. The staging area of this effort is the Peoria Public Safety Administration Building which is near downtown Peoria. It is being funded by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
Many other cities are going to be part of this mission including Avondale, Buckeye, El Mirage, Glendale, Goodyear, Phoenix, Surprise and Tolleson. When you have been arrested for driving under the influence of either drug or alcohol, understanding what to do next can be difficult.
