Auto Accidents

It was all caught on video surveillance tape. A red sedan slammed right into two people sitting and waiting at a bus stop.

In the video you can see the two people hit and pushed by the car. It is hard to watch but good to know that both of the people survived.

The video shows the man and the woman sitting at the stop looking forward when out of no where, the car comes slamming into both of them. Both of them were jammed between the car and the end of the bus stop shelter. The man fought his was out from being stuck. The woman was unable to get out until some passerby came and pushed the car back freeing her.

The car accident happened Monday afternoon in Phoenix near 7th Street and Roeser. Officials still do not know what caused the driver to crash into the bus stop.

In the video which is available for viewing online, you can see the impact the car speed had on the metal bus stop. The car completely knocked over a metal trash can next to the stop. You can also see how confused and upset the driver was when she exits her car and hurries away from the scene.
