Arizona Motorcylce Accident Injures Several Youths

According to a press release from the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, on September 27th this year around 3:45 pm, deputies were called to a scene where a truck had collided with a motorcycle rider.

The accident occurred on Sweet Valley Road in Paulden. Austin Justin, a 16-year-old driver, was driving his dad’s truck when he crashed into a motorcycle rider.
Both of the passengers on the motorcycle were injured. The driver was an unlicensed motorcycle accident driver who is 14-years-old and the passenger was a 13-year-old. The driver had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital.

The passenger had to be airlifted to a Phoenix hospital because of possible internal injuries.
After a preliminary investigation, it appears that Justin did not control his truck while take a curve on Sweet Valley Road. He steered left of center which caused him to hit the motorcycle that was coming directly toward him.

Justin had taken his dad’s truck which was unbeknown st to him. He has been cited for a variety of violations, including driving unlicensed, excessive speed, and failure to control a vehicle.
No further information has been released in regards to the status of the kids taken to the hospital.
